The Urban Balance Consultants has demonstrated knowledge of working in communities and in a corporate capacity that spans many years.  We have a wealth of experience in sports management primarily in inner city communities, as well as working with business and the voluntary sector.

Sheila Forster MA, FCIMSPA, Director

Set up and managed by Sheila Forster who has many years working in the community sports, health and well-being environment, she sits on various forums relating to sport and physical activity cross London.

Her experience includes project management, implementing new sport-related Central Government strategies for schools and overseeing an innovative inner London social enterprise hub.  In her role as General Manager of the North Lambeth and Southwark Sport Action Zone (SAZ), Sheila was responsible for managing the day to day operations of a sports and community hub facility.

Sheila formerly had a strategic role within a London Local Authority, where she successfully developed and implemented a range of initiatives to engender positive change in urban communities.  She has developed broad practical experience in employing effective and targeted solutions to help overcome these issues, centred on engaging and working with a range of stakeholders.

Associate Consultants, Nutritionist, Sports Coaches and trainers

Our associate professionals are drawn from a range of key complementary disciplines, who understand our core value and work ethic.  They are highly qualified sports experts and are adept at working with a broad range of organisations.  Our consultants have experience finding solutions to problems particularly in diverse communities, which is why we stands apart.

Our Associate Consultants Nutritionist and Sports Coaches are largely based in London and are highly skilled and knowledgeable in their fields.

 

Alex Scott-Bayfield, Senior Consultant

Alex is a qualified sport lawyer and project manager with an exceptional range of experience in the sports industry.  She has worked in the Olympic sphere, for International Federations, National Governing Bodies, and central and local government, providing her with a unique insight into the issues facing sports today.  Alex has a range of experience including legacy planning, marketing and promotion and public funding.

Fola Ademoye – Trainer and Health Specialist

Fola is a true inspiration, particularly for older adults, she is in her mid 50's and is a great motivator and highly qualified trainer/coach health specialist.  Qualified in a wide range of disciplines including body pumping, aqua aerobics and athletics to name a few.  Fola's non-nonsense friendly approach enables her to get the best from our clients.  She also has experience training 'special needs' groups too.

Mollie Millington – Fitness Trainer

Mollie is a successful fitness instructor, keen runner and good motivator for clients.  She is qualified up to Level 2 in a range of fitness disciplines, including experience as a certified spinning instructor. Mollie is able to work in a range of settings and she is currently training to do a  half marathon next year.

Suzan Weiss – Fitness Trainer

Suzy is passionate about exercise, fitness and health.  She is extremely client orientated and her friendly, but focused attitude ensures that she gets the most from our clients.    Suzy is a Level 3 qualified trainer with a range of skills including exercise and nutrition, sports conditioning and fitness in the context of the Gym. Suzy's experience includes working with 'Special Needs' groups and is qualified to Level 3 in adapting Exercise for Older Adults.  

Adura Odesanya – General fitness trainer

Adura is a hard working enthusiastic associate with a good range of fitness qualifications up to Level 3.  She is also able to give good nutrition advise particularly as she has worked hard to get herself in shape and can share her experience with our clients.
